As we depart your beautiful italy I realize I kept my promise to you...
One day I will fulfill one place you did not get to. Australia.
The last few years we had many private hours with jeopardy and old movies.we went thru old pics so I would not forget the relatives.
I am so sad I will not be in eastchester to pay tribute in person but I felt your touch as you flew over venice. I know it was you. Costa and I looked at a clock together.
As mom said when I went to college,"we gave you roots, now spread your wings and fly." Seems I really cannot sit still.
Poppy I will miss your gentle generosity....always put others first. Not to worry I will try to continue your legacy.
