Obituary for Lois M. Fulsher (Slagle)

Lois Fulsher, of Eastchester, passed away peacefully on September 2, at the age of 91. Lois was born in Brooklyn NY on April 14, 1926 to the late Howard and Marie Slagle. She married Keith Fulsher on September 20, 1947, and moved to Eastchester in 1957.
Lois loved to travel, and went out west to Yellowstone and other locations over 40 times with her husband Keith. Along with her best friend Jeanne Lloyd, she travelled to Africa, South America, Europe, Russia, and other exotic places. Her bag was always packed and ready to go!
Lois also had a life long love of the opera and ballet, and was a regular at Lincoln Center. As a teenager, she was a stage extra for the ballet in NYC.
Lois was pre-deceased by her loving husband Keith this past August. She is survived by her daughter Susan Nardelli, son Keith Jr. (Mary Anne), grandsons John and Jason Nardelli, granddaughters Lynda Nardelli and Danielle Essick (Andrew), and great grandson Jack Nardelli.
The family will hold a viewing on Wednesday, September 6th at 5:00 PM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 100 Stewart Avenue in Eastchester, NY. A service at the church will follow the viewing at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (NY).
