Gifford A. Dorival, 79, of Bronx, NY passed away on July 28, 2017. He was born on March 14, 1938, in Roseau, Dominica, to the late Alec and Veronica (Nicholas) Dorival. He attended St. Mary's Academy in Dominica and Iona College, New Rochelle, N.Y. Until his death, Gifford worked as the comptroller for Towse Publications in New Rochelle, NY.

Gifford is survived by his loving wife Melody Doering, two daughters; Laura Paglione and Alexandra Doering-Dorival; three sons; Richard Dorival, Nicholas Doering-Dorival and Adriaan Doering-Dorival; two brothers, two sisters and nine grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter Sandra Giraud.
