Louise M. Asphar (neé Scicluna) entered the loving arms of God on May 12, 2017 at the age of 91 in Wilton, CT. She was born on May 4, 1926 in Senglea, Malta. Louise was the beloved wife of the late Bernard R. Asphar. Devoted mother of Stephanie Prior and adored Nanna of Kevin, John Timothy and Meghan. Louise is survived by her siblings, Lino Scicluna, Victoria Allman, and Paula Asphar. Louise came to the United States in 1950 and settled in Eastchester, NY, where she spent most of her life - always in close proximity to family, friends and those she loved. A talented sketch artist and a lover of crossword puzzles, tabloid newspapers and celebrity gossip. Louise will be most remembered for her caring, compassionate demeanor, her loving personality and her infectious laughter that could brighten any room. Visiting will take place on Monday, May 15 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER. Funeral services will take place at Immaculate Conception Church on Tuesday, May 16 at 9:30 AM with an interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
