I still live across from Ann's house in the Bronx. I have many memories of Ann since I moved here when I was 15 years old. And even Mr. Guberti (Rudy). They were always the nicest neighbor to me and my mother. Always said hello and how are you. One thing I do remember is she always said in Italian was..F.U. to them all meaning...the jealous neighbors and she always told us to ignore them it was jealousy. I always remember all the funny stories she told me and my mother and we would be laughing outside of course, while Ann was enjoying smoking her cigarettes....Well I am glad she is resting in peace, with Rudy and I honestly will always remember both of them, and the family that was the nicest neighbor to me and my mother and for selling us the house we live in and all the fond memories I have of my childhood started here right across the street, from the Guberti Family..I will always cherish my memories growing up with everyone and all the funny times we had here.
