Lillian Mary Carapella, lifelong resident of Tuckahoe, NY passes away peacefully on February 27, 2017. She was 99 years old. Lillian was born on February 17, 1918 on Maynard Street in Tuckahoe, NY, Daughter of Pasquale and Quindalina (Consorte) Carapella. Lillian graduated from Tuckahoe High School and was a dedicated parishoner of the Assumption Church in Tuckahoe. She was passionate about singing in the Italian Choir. Lillian loved to travel and her many trips with the church brought her a great deal of pleasure. Lillian dedicated her life to her family and the care of others.
Lillian is predeceased by her sister Elizabeth, brothers John, Victor and Bernadino "Toots". She is survived by her brother Alfred (Reva) Carapella and her many adoring nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit on Friday March 3, 2017 from 4-8PM at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME,INC. Eastchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Saturday March 3, 2017 at Assumption Church, Tuckahoe. Interment to follow at Holy Mount Cemetery, Eastchester.
